About Krystal Kleen Car Wash

Krystal Kleen Car Wash is a car wash in Birmingham, Alabama. It is listed at 239 W Valley Ave, Birmingham, AL 35209, which places it among the local businesses of Birmingham that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Birmingham, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Alabama, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Birmingham keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 99 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Birmingham is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Birmingham follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great car wash! Everything is in good working order. I didn’t use a credit card, but the change machine and quarters worked just fine. I presoaked, scrubbed, and rinsed for $9.

it use to be my favorite car wash, close to home, convenient, etc. But it just has completely gone downhill they do not upkeep it anymore! -both change machine have been out ALL day. -all trash bins are over flowing -trash everywhere on the ground -homeless people taking baths (i guess you could say) using the water to wash cars

SCAM ALERT: This car wash is intentionally stealing people's money. I paid by card today. The machine said $ 2.67 and I pressed the finish button twice to make sure. It then said " thank you have a nice day" on the screen and went back to default "insert card here". I get home and suddenly I have a charge from Krystal Kleen on my card for $10. Reading the other reviews am clearly not the only one with this issue and it always is specifically $10. I don't know how to report this but please avoid this place at all costs.

Great place to clean your car, I prefer self serve car washes but unfortunately there aren't many around anymore. The owner is a very pleasant gentleman. Usually not too crowded, though it can occasionally get busy. I've never used the vacuums but the car wash usually works just fine. They recently added card readers (with automatic time out in case your forget to hit the stop button), which is a huge improvement as you don't have to bother with quarters anymore. I've seen other reviews claiming the readers didn't work properly, but i'm a regular and have never had trouble with them. 5/5, will continue to use this facility.
